Welcome to a blog written by Mitch Nelson, a resident of Anchorage Alaska since August 2nd, 2012.

Prior to that, he lived in Wichita, Kansas for 11 years — and before leaving he realized he didn’t know half as much as he should about Alaska.  Mostly he figured that out because most of his friends didn’t know half of what they should about what Mitch would expect to see.  So the blog was first started as a “what is Mitch experiencing when he moved to Alaska” and became more of “Here is my life in Alaska”.
