Google Penguin 4.0 Update

May 5, 2013
Share Post:
Google Penguin After the recent Google Penguin 4.0 Update (that has been rolled out on 22nd of May), 74% of LinksManagement customers reported that their rankings have improved for 27 positions on average. 15% didn’t respond yet, and the rest 11% have seen insufficient rankings decrease for 3-4 positions. We believe that our customers have seen so positive results because one of the most important rankings factor that was changed in this update was the importance of the hosted website country. After the Google Penguin 4.0 it became even more important for backlinks to come from websites, hosted in the same country where you want to rank well. For example, if you want to be #1 on Google.com in USA, your links should come from websites, hosted in USA as well. And since LinksManagement is focused on USA business owners, most of the sites in our inventory are hosted in USA (websites from non-English countries are automatically filtered out to the list of ‘Other countries’). That’s why customers who were purchasing backlinks from USA (and also Canada and UK) have seen positive improvement in Google search results for the past week after the Penguin 4.0 has been rolled out. So we recommend you to focus on acquiring only high quality backlinks, coming from sites, hosted in the same country where you want to rank high!
